Thoughts on 12No, not the 12th birthday, the 12th chapter of River Cats.
12 is fourth in line for a revamp (in the Trial by Fire process revisions are private now). It's the oldest intact chapter of the story, and one of the most important when *SunetteTheWolf joined the story and changed things for the better.
It was the longest chapter of River Cats when it was written, the first to top 2,000 though today that's *below* average in the Trial by Fire series, which (at 8 chapters complete of 40) has an average size of 2,225 words per chapter, compared to 1877 for the first draft you see here on dA.
While it's still a ways before 12 gets the redo process, it will likely be one of the most affected chapters. Notably there is a minor plot change even before the rewrite.
